Job summary

GeoTek, a full-service engineering consulting firm, seeks a Civil Engineering Staff Professional to join the Albuquerque, NM office. You will assist senior engineers with technical, operational, and administrative tasks, benefiting from GeoTek's mentor program to develop exposure across geotechnical, CMT, and environmental projects.

Key duties include reports, field and lab testing, data management, and assisting with proposals and client communications while supporting timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in civil, geotechnical engineering or equivalent required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) status and FE Exam completion preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for work.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Writes or assists in the completion of complex reports for geotechnical, CMT, and environmental departments.
• Performs laboratory/field testing on construction materials (soils, concrete) per quality system requirements.
• Assists with proposals, technical calculations, and submittals to ensure quality of the work.
• Supports client interaction, scope changes, and documentation to maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Manages data entry and project information to aid timely completion.
