Job summary

Keller Foundations, Inc. is seeking a qualified heavy equipment operator/laborer for its geotechnical construction team. The role involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment, rigging and spotting, and performing labor tasks on site across projects in the United States.

Travel of 4–5 weeks at a time and base pay between $22 and $30 per hour are expected. Applicants must have 2+ years of equipment operation experience, be able to work outdoors in varying conditions, and comply with safety

Qualifications

  • Hands-on equipment operator experience in construction.
  • Willingness to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
  • OSHA/First Aid or safety training preferred.
  • Experience in ground improvement, grouting or earth retention is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect and maintain equipment to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Rigging, hoisting and spotting for equipment movement.
  • Level ground for transportation of equipment and materials.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and find solutions quickly.
  • Complete duties as instructed by supervisor.
  • Maintain safe working conditions per OSHA regulations.
  • May operate cement mixers, air compressors, generators, pumps, etc.
  • Travel out of state for 4–5 weeks at a time.
