Job summary

Bridge Core (BCore) in McLean, VA is seeking a Geospatial Systems Engineer to join our Mission Services team supporting government missions. This role requires TS/SCI with Poly and a strong background in geospatial technology.

You will apply Python for geospatial data processing, publish and manage ArcGIS content, work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and develop dashboards and reports to enable fast, informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional geospatial experience or related technical field.
• Strong Python experience for geospatial data processing, automation, transformation, analysis, and workflow improvement.
• Experience with large geospatial datasets: cleaning, joining, enriching, validating, preparing data for analysis/publication.
• Hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal/Online, including publishing hosted layers, web maps, dashboards, geospatial content.
• Experience curating geospatial data holdings; metadata, discoverability, data quality.
• Experience developing dashboards/reports in Tableau or similar BI tool.
• Understanding of geospatial formats, projections, spatial joins, workflows, cartography, data management.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS for spatial data storage and queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently across teams and stakeholders.
