Job summary

S5 Analytics, LLC is hiring a Software Engineer to build and enhance geospatial applications used in national security. You will work in an Agile Scrum team, contributing across the full stack with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and Angular/TypeScript on the frontend.

Role emphasizes ownership, troubleshooting, and clear communication of technical concepts, with a strong focus on reliability and performance in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (engineering/science) required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Access and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Strong hands-on development with Java/Spring Boot and/or Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and modern software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance mission-critical geospatial applications.
• Develop backend services (Java/Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular/TypeScript).
• Ensure data flow from UI through services to databases; troubleshoot performance.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum environment; communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
