Job summary

Orchard LLC is seeking a GIS Operations Officer in McLean, VA, requiring an active TS/SCI with poly clearance. The role focuses on geospatial analysis, database design, and all-source mapping for government and intelligence customers.

You will craft datasets, perform complex geospatial processing, and deliver actionable intelligence products. Key tasks include developing geospatial databases, advanced imagery visualization, and integrating temporal data for analysis.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• Experience with ESRI ArcPro 3.x and Spatial Analyst; familiarity with classified imagery platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, GIS web services, and geodatabases (PostGIS preferred).
• Understanding of geospatial data formats, projections, and spatial data management.
• Experience storing/querying spatial/tabular data in relational DBs (PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply GIS, geospatial, imagery analysis, cartography, and all-source geospatial analysis skills.
• Create custom datasets via raster geo-referencing and re-projection; feature extraction and digitization.
• Design and maintain all-source geospatial databases.
• Produce advanced mapping and visualization products conveying tactical/strategic info.
• Combine geospatial and temporal data for all-source analysis and research.
• Enhance user connectivity to critical geospatial information.
