Job summary

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) invites motivated students to join a one-year internship program in the Source career field, centered on GEOINT. Interns work on problem identification, analysis, and solution delivery, while preparing briefings related to their assignments.

Enrollment in an accredited degree program is required, with opportunities to collaborate across multiple GEOINT disciplines and engage with diverse customers and providers to address national security

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled part-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university program.
• Current unofficial transcript showing date, university and GPA must be uploaded.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on most recent transcript; freshmen may provide enrollment letter as alternative.
• Experience presenting clear verbal updates or explanations in group settings.
• Experience identifying and gathering data to resolve routine problems.
• Experience explaining fundamental AI concepts and/or technologies used for routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
• Prepare and present briefings directly related to work assigned.
• Engage with NGA teams to support GEOINT mission and information needs.
• Exposure to critical functions enabling NGA to deliver timely GEOINT.
