Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst to support battlefield planning by analyzing aerial and ground imagery and geospatial data. This role provides critical intelligence to commanders and offers pathways to civilian careers in engineering, mapmaking, and related fields.

You will gain experience with imagery analysis, intelligence gathering, and mapping tools while earning a regular paycheck and access to tuition assistance and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce intelligence by analyzing images, fixed/moving targets, and geospatial data
• Identify military installations, facilities, weapon systems, military equipment, and defenses
• Distinguish changes to the battlefield based on imagery analysis
• Conduct Battle Damage Assessment
