Job summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, API services, and front-end interfaces for accessing and visualizing geospatial and structured data.
Candidate should be proficient with Data Lakes platforms such as Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS environments, and cloud-based data engineering, enabling scalable analytics and dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of full-stack development and data engineering experience.
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS GIS platforms, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases.
- Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval.
- CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments; API authentication experience.
- Experience optimizing large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize data integration pipelines for geospatial data.
- Build API services and front-end interfaces for visualization.
- Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and secure API access.
- Improve database queries and indexing for large datasets.
