Job Overview

Job Title: Geospatial Computer Vision Analyst
Job Duration: 12 months contract
Location: Greensboro, NC 27409
Pay Range: $20-$21/hour on W2

Responsibilities
  • The Geospatial Computer Vision Analyst role is part of our Product Biology team, which is part of the R&D organization responsible for the development of new Crop Protection (CP) solutions for growers worldwide.
  • Process data using image analysis systems to support Digital Biological Assessments in Crop Protection Product Development globally.
  • Create field trial and plot boundaries within the software pipeline to denote what parts of the image are included in data summaries.
  • Perform image annotation and labelling activities, as needed, to aid in training new machine learning models.
  • Use QGIS and Agisoft MetaShape and internal pipeline to turn images to data from Crop Protection field trials.
  • Interact with field scientists to coordinate plot location versus image views.
  • Keep track of the organization of the image analysis pipeline, track datasets through the pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the image analysis pipeline.
  • Coordinate benchmarking activities and KPIs, identify where improvements are needed.
  • Coordinate image annotation activities, and perform the labelling work directly as needed.
Skills
  • Experience with photogrammetry processing for imagery analysis.
  • Experience with ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Experience with Agisoft Metashape.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux/MacOS command line systems.
  • Experience with documenting procedures used in enterprise data workflows.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Education
