Job summary

Ayres is seeking a motivated land surveying candidate to join our Geospatial - Aerial Mapping and Land Survey team in Madison, WI. The role involves CADD tasks for survey projects such as ALTA surveys, right-of-way plats, and easement exhibits.

Responsibilities include preparing survey maps with Civil3D or MicroStation, reducing field notes, coordinating utility locates, and researching survey records while traveling as needed. Join a nationally recognized workplace with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in land surveying or related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Experience with Civil3D/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey maps under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor using AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation.
• Reduce field notes.
• Request utility locates.
• Perform survey records research in various counties online.
• Conduct and support field-work efforts when warranted.
• Process field data and prepare deliverables meeting client specifications.
• Attend project related meetings.
• Travel may be required at times.
