Job summary

Nalley Consulting, Llc is seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst to join the Fort Gordon team. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, and a strong background in geospatial analysis and GIS software to support complex assessments and data integration.

Qualified candidates will hold an advanced degree in a technical field or substantial experience with DoD geospatial processes, and possess demonstrated skills in Python/R and spatial modeling, with experience presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Required experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI.
• Expert knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.
• Experience with spatial relational databases: Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Experience with geographically derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business metrics.
• Ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Experience coordinating with industry counterparts on technical projects.

Required clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance

Required experience/education: MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 5 years of relevant experience; OR BA/BS degree in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 10 years of relevant experience; OR HS diploma/GED AND training with a DoD/ Geospatial Information Services career field/ military occupational specialty AND at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.


• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).


• Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.


• Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.


• Extensive experience with geographically derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.


• Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.


• Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.

Desired Experience

• Experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages with spatial data to deliver custom solutions.


• Experience with IC and DoD geospatial data and repositories


• Experience working within common project management frameworks.


• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.


• Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.


• Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.


• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design.
