Job summary

Core One seeks a skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our National Security mission in Georgia. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a GIS-focused degree, and hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, MapBox, and GeoServer to deliver geospatial insights for analytical and operational solutions.

You'll manage spatial databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGIS), develop geoprocessing workflows in Python/R, and present findings in multimedia formats.

Qualifications

• College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS) or related field.
• Experience in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with SSBI.
• Expert knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer.
• Experience with spatial databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGIS).
• Extensive experience with geospatial assessments, data integration, and metadata interpretation.
• Ability to present geospatial information via multimedia reports.
• Experience coding in Python, R, SAS, or Java for geoprocessing workflows.

Qualifications:

• College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS), Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.
• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.
• Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.
• Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.
• Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows.
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.
  Desired Experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories.
• Experience working within common project management frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom solutions.
• Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.
• Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles.
• Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production
