Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to support government and military customers by turning GIS data into actionable intelligence.

You will use GIS tools to aggregate, analyze, and visualize geospatial information, produce intelligence products, and identify key locations within high-priority networks. Collaboration with analysts and mission partners is essential; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a HS diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years GIS experience including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, GeoMediaPRO or QGIS for GEOINT analysis in the DoD
• 3+ years experience with open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination
• Experience creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
• Experience representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience supporting strategic- and operational-level customers
• Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Geospatial Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a geospatial analyst, you use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop intelligence products and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. As a geospatial analyst on our team, you’ll use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products that will support the warfighter. You’ll aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports. You’ll assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks. You’ll also act as a strong collaborator and mission-focused team member who is comfortable working with other analysts, mission partners, and customers.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with using GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth,GeoMediaPRO, or QGIS to conduct GEOINT analysis in the DoD

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
