Job summary

TGS in Houston seeks a senior Geoscientist to support a multi-disciplinary team across the Gulf region. You will apply geological knowledge to solve complex challenges, provide context for imaging projects, and mentor junior geoscientists while delivering timely, high-quality results.

You will develop relationships with customers and academic partners, lead project work, drive process improvements, and share knowledge across the organization to advance velocity model building and prospectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong background in basin analysis and seismic interpretation.
• Experience mentoring geoscientists.
• Ability to articulate geoscience concepts to clients.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide geological and geoscience support to projects.
• Develop external and internal relationships, including customers and academic partners.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Geoscientists in the region.
• Interpret MC library data for basin understanding and petroleum systems.
• Support Sales Managers in securing opportunities by demonstrating dataset value.
• Ensure high-quality geological QC throughout model evolution.
