Overview

Health Connect America is seeking a Georgia Licensed Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services in outpatient settings. The organization is COA-accredited and operates across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine individuals’ needs and appropriate interventions.
• Use standardized assessment tools to gather relevant information.
• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and the treatment team.
• Set measurable goals and objectives tailored to individuals’ needs.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Apply therapeutic techniques to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
• Provide consistent services to all assigned individuals on the caseload.
• Maintain regular contact and follow-up to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Accurately document client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframes per policy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide holistic care.
• Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
• Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations and develop safety plans; coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
• Engage in community outreach to promote mental health services and attract new clients.
• Connect individuals and families with additional resources and support services as needed.
• Stay current with best practices, new treatment modalities, and emerging trends in mental health therapy.
• Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• As a licensed clinician, ensure credentials remain current, comply with training requirements, and supervise staff as applicable.
• Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve concerns.

Qualifications

• Georgia Outpatient Services:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Must hold a current professional license in Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Georgia IFI Services:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Must hold a current professional license in Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience working with youth or families.
