Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, is seeking an Environmental Field Superintendent to oversee stormwater management and erosion control on construction sites in Georgia. You will ensure SWPPP compliance and coordinate with project teams to integrate environmental requirements into schedules.

Travel to Baconton and other site locations is expected; the role demands strong regulatory knowledge, leadership of field crews, and commitment to safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in stormwater management and erosion control on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret SWPPP documents and construction plans.
• Proven experience supervising SWPPP or civil construction crews.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage SWPPP on construction projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure erosion and sediment control measures are installed, maintained, and functioning.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor SWPPP compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, monitoring data, and records of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
• Supervise and lead crews responsible for stormwater and erosion control measures.
• Train and guide construction personnel on SWPPP requirements and environmental best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate SWPPP measures into the construction schedule.
