Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Georgia seeks a School Based Speech Therapist for a remote position serving students via teletherapy. You will conduct virtual evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct services while monitoring progress.

The role requires a Master's in SLP, Georgia licensure (or ability to obtain), CCC-SLP preferred, and 2+ years of school-based or teletherapy experience; collaboration with teachers and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Active Georgia SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in school-based and/or teletherapy.
• Experience with IEP development and virtual service delivery is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting.
• Provide direct teletherapy services and track student progress.
• Use data to guide therapy decisions and adjust interventions as needed.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Provide guidance and strategies for carryover in home and classroom settings.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals.
• Ensure services meet state, district, and federal guidelines.
• Complete reports, evaluations, and billing documentation as required.
• Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions.
• Adapt materials for an effective online learning environment.
• Troubleshoot basic tech issues and support families with platform use.
• Support students in accessing appropriate communication services.
• Provide education and resources to families and school teams.
