Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Server Assistant to join the service team at one of our luxury properties in the United States. You will support servers, greet guests with water, and help keep the dining room clean and ready for service.

The role emphasizes warm, attentive guest interactions, teamwork, and adherence to brand standards. Prior food & beverage and customer service experience, plus a Maricopa Food Handlers Card, are preferred to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience, preferred.
• Prior customer service experience, preferred.
• Prior luxury / upscale dining experience, preferred.
• LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Maricopa Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations.
• Assist Server with table service, including serving beverages, breads, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the property and department.
• Complete all sidework and assist with other duties as assigned by management.

What you will have an opportunity to do

The Server Assistant supports the service team by assisting servers, bussing and resetting tables, greeting guests with water service, and ensuring the dining room and patio are clean, organized, and set for service. This role helps maintain a smooth flow of service while delivering a warm and attentive guest experience.

Essential Functions
