Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a creative and energetic geophysicist to join our Spring, Texas campus. You will apply advanced geophysical analysis to deliver integrated subsurface solutions across the asset lifecycle for Upstream and Low Carbon Solutions.

You will collaborate across disciplines to develop subsurface predictions, shape strategy, and drive innovations in methods, workflows, and technologies. MS or PhD is preferred with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in rock physics, seismic methods, and geophysical data interpretation.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines and communicating complex results to varied audiences.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship may be considered for PhD holders.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced geophysical analysis to deliver integrated subsurface predictions.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, engineers, and other functions to shape data acquisition and decisions.
• Design technical workplans and ensure high-quality execution.
• Engage with external vendors and academic partners to evaluate innovations.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to internal knowledge networks.
