DIOCESE OF ALLENTOWN is seeking a Math Teacher (Geometry and Statistics) at Bethlehem Catholic High School in Bethlehem, PA. The position is full-time and exempt from overtime.

You will report to the School Principal and develop engaging lessons, grade assignments, and communicate with families throughout the school year. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Math or a related field, with PA teaching certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Math or related field required.
• PA teaching certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach geometry and college preparatory geometry and AP Statistics across Freshman to Senior level.
• Create and follow lesson plans aligned with curriculum and educational research.
• Maintain safe, orderly classroom environment according to school policies.
• Develop weekly lesson plans and provide detailed instructions for substitutes.
• Grade papers promptly and maintain fair and transparent grading policies.
• Regularly communicate with families about schedules, assignments, events, and progress.
• Record and report student progress, prepare progress reports and report cards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and diocese policies.
• Engage in professional growth and collaborate with staff on instructional goals.
• Attend in-service trainings and faculty meetings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Math or related field

PA teaching certification preferred
