What can you expect?
As the Geologist III, you will work out of the office in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Post Falls, ID, Salt Lake City, UT, or Portland, ME and utilize your knowledge to participate in collecting, synthesizing and documenting data from investigated areas and assisting in the preparation of project documentation, in addition to providing field support as needed including field site supervision. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills are essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. Assignments are deadline driven so must be able to set priorities, take ownership of projects, work efficiently and provide a consistent level of high quality in a high‑pressure environment. This position will support Project Managers and will include mentorship by various Project Managers and Technical Advisors. The expectation for this position is to be on the path to becoming a Project Manager or Technical Advisor.

At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites.
