Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking Project-Based Geologists to support mining operations with hands-on geology tasks including ore routing, mapping, sampling, and data management.

The Geologist will perform ore routing, map geology, log cores and RC chips, enter and validate data, and maintain records while working under a Senior Geologist. This contract runs about one year with a rotating schedule and site-based work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology required.
• Previous geological mapping experience required.
• Previous core logging experience required.
• Previous data entry experience required.
• Experience with databases, mapping software, and 3D modeling software is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively within the assigned rotational schedule and in a site-based geology environment.

Turner Staffing Group is seeking Project-Based Geologists to support our client's mining operations. This opportunity is well suited for geologists with hands-on experience in geologic mapping, core logging, sampling, and geological data management.

The Geologist will support day-to-day geology activities, including ore routing and tracking, geological mapping, sampling, data entry and validation, and core and RC chip logging. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
