Job Summary:

The Geological Technician is primarily responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the exploration team. This position also assists with data gathering, organization, presentations and is responsible for the preparation of maps, cross sections, and managing data in geologists’ programs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and structured work assignments.
• Maintains integrity of data in geologists’ computer databases.
• Creates and maintains datasets as required by exploration team.
• Maintains company mapsin geographic area of responsibility.
• Provides basic IT support to maintain plotters, workstations, etc.

• Ability to work and communicate with the exploration team.
• Strong ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Self-motivated, positive “can do” attitude, strong work ethic.

Education and Experience:
