Job summary

Mission Intelligence Group seeks an Ontologist – Expert System Integrator to advance ontology governance and enterprise-level GEOINT integration. You will design and implement ontology frameworks, translate mission needs into actionable solutions, and guide project planning for secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• 18+ years of experience as a Systems Integrator in lieu of a degree.
• Expert-level experience in Systems Integration, Systems Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture Integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration across NSG/ASG systems-of-systems enterprise.
• Provide strategy, requirements, processes, and capability development guidance.
• Capture and translate mission requirements into operational capabilities and technical solutions.
• Support backlog grooming, roadmap development, and feature prioritization with Product Managers.
• Manage agile schedules and collaborate with multi-contractor and Government teams.
• Analyze user workflows to identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Evaluate cloud capabilities, architecture traceability, and scheduling constraints.
• Interpret customer data requirements while ensuring mission alignment.
• Collaborate with IPOs, the CDO, and enterprise stakeholders to achieve Content Conveyance objectives.
• Support AoA, CoA, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
• Lead teams for ontology design, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain ontology frameworks supporting Foundation GEOINT.
• Assist Government leadership with planning, performance engineering, and interface design.
• Maintain Agile project schedules using JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Operate in multi-contractor and Government environments with competing priorities.
