Job summary

TULK seeks a Data Science SME Lead in Springfield, VA to guide a team delivering GEOINT tradecraft learning across classroom, virtual, and mobile environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data analytics and ML, 2+ years teaching adults, 4+ years of team management, plus TS/SCI clearance and DoD Instructor Certification. You will work with course managers and stakeholders to keep training current and mission-relevant.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to data analytics, CS, or statistics.
• DoD Basic Instructor Certification required.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, CS, and ML.
• 2+ years delivering learning content to adult learners.
• 4+ years managing day-to-day team activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GEOINT tradecraft learning in classroom, virtual, and mobile training environments.
• Help learners connect tradecraft concepts to realistic mission scenarios and operational decision-making.
• Support curriculum management, course maintenance, and development per NGA guidance.
• Review courseware for technical accuracy, currency, instructional effectiveness, and alignment to tradecraft area.
• Participate in Integrated Development Team meetings with course managers and stakeholders.
• Maintain required instructor certification and course qualification status.
