General intro

As a freelance teacher at Coursle - Centre For Distance Learning, you’ll be responsible for putting the teaching materials together and crafting the curriculum for the Geography Basic course. You can use your professional experience to leave your mark on the course contents. You’ll have a list of school guidelines you can always refer to, and we ask that you take the course’s target group into account. You’re free to use any existing teaching materials as a source of inspiration, as long as the source is properly referenced.

You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and correcting students’ homework and providing them with support and guidance during their online education. We have an online platform that has been designed to help you do that efficiently.

Job content

• Creating and/or adapting educational programs, training tools and exercises
• Developing learning methods and resources
• Supporting students and following up with them on educational, logistical and/or administrative matters
• Following remote training framework

Profile

To be able to teach at Coursle - Centre For Distance Learning, you must have at least 3 years of self-employed experience in your field, as well as the necessary pedagogical skills. A teacher needs to be friendly, outgoing and helpful. When students submit homework or have a question, you must be able to answer within 48 hours, wherever in the world you are. This means you need to have a stable Internet connection, a working PC, and up-to-date Microsoft Office.
