The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking a GIS/Data Solutions Analyst to support the Land Use and Mobility Options program. This role will assist with data editing, analysis and mapping to inform multimodal transportation and land use planning in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

You will contribute to spatial analysis and data visualization efforts, collaborating with a public-service oriented team that values diverse experience, including military service.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)/Data Solutions Analyst – Land Use and Mobility Options

The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking a GIS/Data Solutions Analyst to support the GIS needs of the Land Use and Mobility Options program area. The individual in this position will assist with data editing, analysis and mapping of land use and multimodal transportation options (i.e., bicycling, walking, and transit). Projects will be dynamic as the individual in this position will assist with a wide range of spatial analysis and data visualization activities that respond to complex transportation and land use needs for a growing metropolitan area.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development. The planning area for transportation includes the 12 counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise. NCTCOG also serves as a designated recipient for Federal Transit Administration funds.
