Job summary

Esri is seeking a software developer to help design and build location-based APIs and geocoding services across desktop, server, and cloud environments in Redlands, CA.

You will collaborate with product engineers and users to optimize C++/C# code, embrace cloud-native architectures, and contribute to scalable geospatial technology in a global company. This role offers opportunities to work on high-throughput services and modern distributed systems with Esri's people and technology.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related software development experience.
• Background in algorithms, data structures and use of common design patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, GIS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write scalable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Integrate geocoding solutions into desktop, on prem, and hosted architectures.
• Design and implement efficient web services for high throughput data processing.
• Optimize existing and new C++ code to reduce memory consumption and to increase performance and scalability.
