Job summary

Vincere in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an IMMEDIATE long-term Geo/Civil Field Technician to join our client's team. The role requires traveling to multiple construction sites in company vehicles to collect and test materials such as concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates, with hands-on field and lab work.

This contract-to-permanent position offers 40+ hour weeks with overtime as needed. Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $30.00 per hour, with potential growth as you gain inspection

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and logging samples for testing.
• Geology or Civil Engineering degree preferred.
• ACI Certification or equivalent and experience with Nuclear Gauge is a plus.
• Clean driving record; you will operate company vehicles.
• Desire to gain additional inspection certifications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a variety of construction sites to collect samples.
• Perform field and lab testing on concrete, soils, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Log samples and document results accurately.
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles.
• Pursue additional inspection certifications as knowledge grows.
