Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. with at least 6 months of experience in molecular biology, genetics, or microbiology is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship at this time.
• Experience with basic laboratory techniques and meticulous record-keeping.
• Preference for candidates with PCR, library prep, NGS sequencing or RNA-seq knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce, analyze, document, and report results with reproducible data.
• Keep accurate and detailed laboratory records and reports.
• Communicate daily results and progress to supervisor in writing or orally.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions promptly.
• Maintain high data quality under deadlines and manage lab equipment.
• Manage lab supplies and coordinate ordering with Purchasing.
