Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years lab experience.
• Alternative: 4 years progressive lab experience with at least 2 years direct testing.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform specialized lab procedures per protocols.
• Process, label, track specimens through workflows.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced lab instruments and robotic systems.
• Lead refinement and implementation of laboratory protocols.
• Record procedures and results in electronic systems.
• Supervise Lab Research Assistant 1 and 2.
• Present findings at lab meetings.
• Collaborate with external labs and clinical teams.
• Oversee lab supply inventory and vendor coordination.
• Monitor lab-wide safety adherence.
• Draft or revise methods sections for internal protocols.
• Translate findings from literature into improved lab practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
