Job summary

• Good human relations skills and clear communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytic specimen processing.
• Operate a variety of laboratory and office equipment.
• Enter information and test orders into the laboratory computer system; respond to high volume of calls for testing information.
• Ensure correct patient identification on specimens and document/prevent related issues.
• Perform complex reagent preparation.
• Manage work unit supply inventory.
• Operate automated systems and provide training to others.
