The University of Maryland School of Medicine invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, jointly appointed between the Institute for Genome Sciences (IGS) and the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) in Baltimore, MD. Salary ranges from $143,862 to $177,330 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in genomics or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clinical and basic scientists.
• Experience mentoring and teaching and contributing to service missions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a transdisciplinary genomics and computational oncology research program.
• Engage in mentoring and teaching within IGS and UMGCCC.
• Develop collaborations with translational cancer researchers and cross-disciplinary clinical research.
