Job summary

The Institute for Genomic Health at Mount Sinai invites exceptional faculty candidates to join the Division of Genomic Medicine as tenure-track faculty. You will develop and implement genomic medicine programs within the Division, Department of Medicine, and IGH, translating genomics into routine clinical care.

We expect an MD or MD/PhD with a strong publication record, leadership in clinical or translational genetics, and enthusiasm for collaborative, team-based science.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with expertise in clinical genetics and genomics.
• Graduate Medical Training in Internal Medicine and/or Medical Genetics is a plus.
• A track record of innovation and scholarship in the field, evidenced by a strong publication record.
• A strong background in clinical, basic, or translational research in human genetics.
• Enthusiasm for team science in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of genomic medicine programs and collaborations for adult care.
• Build and lead research programs leveraging health systems data.
• Develop clinical collaborations for diagnostic testing and screening.
• Advance genomic medicine implementation in diverse populations.
