Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a Time-Limited Staff member to support the laboratory of Dr. Jiping Yang in Greenwood, SC.

You will assist with data analysis, ordering, and day-to-day lab operations. You will perform molecular biology and cell culture experiments, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, Western blotting, cell maintenance, differentiation, transfection, and transduction, contributing to ongoing research in human genetics and functional genomics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a clinical or research setting preferred.
• Able to perform standard molecular biology and cell culture tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Investigator with data analysis, ordering, and daily lab operations.
• Perform molecular biology experiments including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and Western blotting.
• Carry out cell culture tasks including maintenance, differentiation, transfection and transduction.
