Job summary

ECU Health is seeking a Genetics Counselor to provide genetics counseling and appropriate follow‑up to adult ECU Health Cancer Care patients at ECU Health Medical Center in North Carolina.

Minimum requirements include a Masters degree in Genetic Counseling, ABGC/ABMG eligibility within one year, and strong written and verbal communication, organizational, teamwork, initiative and judgment.

Job description

Position Summary

This position will provide genetics counseling and appropriate follow-up to adult ECU Health Cancer Care (ECUHMC CC) patients.

Minimum Requirements

Masters degree in Genetic Counseling is required- or higher.

Qualifications

Eligible within 1 year of employment, or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABGC / ABMG).

No substitutions

Less than 1 year experience in Genetic Counseling internship is required.

Other academic institutions or pharmaceutical companies as genetics counselor is preferred.

Pay Range

$68806.40 - $100294.48

Other Information

• Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week
• Day shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
• No weekends/holidays
