Washington University in Saint Louis seeks a Research Technician II in Genetics and Psychiatry to perform rodent behavioral and molecular analyses and maintain mouse lines for NIH- and privately funded projects. You will collect data, assist with analysis, and contribute to protocol development on evolving assays.

The position requires flexible hours, with evening/weekend work possible. Training in qPCR and Western blotting is provided, alongside rigorous lab record keeping and data

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Experience with rodent handling and basic wet lab techniques is preferred.
• Strong documentation and data management skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Collect behavioral data and perform preliminary data analysis.
• Breed and maintain experimental mouse lines.
• Perform molecular assays for genotype determination and quantify transcripts and proteins.
• Assist with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Help bring new behavioral assays online.
