Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support daily activities of clinical studies, obtain informed consent, and manage data and regulatory documents. This role reports to the CTO team within the Clinical Trials Office and works closely with investigators and research staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with clinical trial systems such as OnCore or EMR tools like Epic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or closely related field.
• No experience required; one year of research preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with OnCore or EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educating patients and obtaining informed consent.
• Collecting, entering, and maintaining study data.
• Recruiting participants and preparing regulatory submissions.
• Coordinating with IRB, sponsors, and the research team.
• Preparing for site visits and liaising with monitors/regulatory bodies.
• Maintaining source documents and biospecimen handling.
• Attending team meetings and completing miscellaneous duties.
