Responsibilities

  • Genetic Engineering: perform DNA assembly to design synthetic genetic circuits and verify constructs by sequencing.
  • Microbial Cultivation: maintain and manipulate bacterial cultures in an anaerobic environment.
  • Laboratory Operations: assist with general lab maintenance and preparation of anaerobic media and stock solutions.
  • Data Documentation: maintain real-time records in the lab’s LIMS and present progress in weekly meetings.
