The General Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham is seeking a Genetic Counselor to provide compassionate education, counseling, risk assessment, and support to patients and families with genetic conditions. This onsite role works with a multidisciplinary care team across clinics and specialties.
Required: Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling and state license; 1–2 years of genetics experience preferred.

The Genetic Counselor provides compassionate genetic education, counseling, risk assessment, and support to patients and families who have genetic conditions, birth defects, or may be at risk for inherited conditions. This role works as part of a multidisciplinary care team and supports patients across a variety of specialty clinics and clinical settings. Areas of practice may include General Genetics, Metabolic, Bone Marrow Transplant, Cystic Fibrosis, Hearing Loss, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neurofibromatosis, Disorders of Sexual Development, and other specialty programs. Reproductive Genetic Counselors at MGH are members of a multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, personalized care to patients and families navigating preconception and prenatal genetic concerns.
Counseling may address a variety of topics, including:
Education Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling required.
Experience cannot be substituted for the required degree.
Genetic Counselor [State License] required.
Experience 1–2 years of experience in genetics preferred.

Pay Range $66,518.40 - $104,509.60/Annual Grade 5
