Job summary

MatchPoint Solutions is seeking a mid-level Genesys Cloud Engineer to implement, configure, test, and deploy Genesys Cloud solutions in support of CX and AI initiatives.

Under guidance from senior engineers, you will enhance platforms, automate processes, and ensure quality and deployment standards are met. This role emphasizes integration work, API usage, and ongoing platform optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience with Genesys Cloud CX administration, configuration, and implementation.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled contact center technologies and virtual agents.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support Genesys Cloud CX components including flows and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud and enterprise apps using APIs.
• Implement automation, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment processes.
• Support development and deployment of virtual agents and MCP integrations.
• Test, validate, and deploy across dev, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and improve reliability with cross-team collaboration.
• Document configurations, deployment procedures, and technical solutions.
• Participate in ongoing platform optimization and monitoring efforts.

The Engineer is responsible for implementing, configuring, testing, and deploying Genesys Cloud solutions in support of the organization's customer experience and AI initiatives. Working under the guidance of senior engineering leadership, this role executes platform enhancements, integrations, automation initiatives, and operational improvements while ensuring adherence to established architecture, quality, and deployment standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and support Genesys Cloud CX platform components, including flows, integrations, routing, policies, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud and enterprise applications using APIs and approved integration patterns.
• Implement automation, configuration-as-code, and deployment processes established by senior engineering leadership.
• Support development and deployment of virtual agents, Copilot capabilities, MCP integrations, and other AI-driven solutions.
• Execute testing, validation, and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with quality, operations, and senior engineering teams to resolve defects and improve reliability.
• Document configurations, deployment procedures, and technical solutions.
• Participate in ongoing platform optimization, monitoring, and support activities.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Genesys Cloud CX administration, configuration, and implementation.
