Job summary

MD&A (Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC) is seeking a qualified individual to join the Repairs Division and lead teams in disassembling, rewinding, repairing, and testing AC/DC rotating equipment including generators and motors. The role requires travel across the U.S.

  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience testing, inspecting, and repairing rotating electrical equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally; extensive travel required.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments: shop, industrial sites, chemical plants, and power plants.
  • Ready to work at nuclear power stations requiring drug screening and background investigations.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to upsell repairs performed.
  • Strong multi‑tasking abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

The position is located in the Repairs Division and will involve leading teams in providing repair and testing services on a broad range of rotating electrical equipment.

Job Description

This role involves leading teams to disassemble, reassemble, rewind, repair, and test individual mechanical and electrical components and fully assembled units of AC/DC rotating equipment including power generators, motors, brushless and DC exciters, and collector assemblies. The specialist will travel domestically and internationally, interact with customers onsite, and prepare detailed technical reports for each job.
