Job summary

Power Plus! is seeking Generator Service Technicians in Cleveland, OH to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generator systems from 5 kW to 4000 kW, ensuring best-in-class service to customers.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is required, with technical schooling a plus and willingness to learn new technologies. Responsibilities include working with customers, completing paperwork, and interpreting manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
• Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial or residential electric experience a plus.
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies.

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kw – 4000kw generator systems

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
• Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric and or like military experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies.
• Available to work various shifts, weekend, holidays and on-call pager rotations with occasional out of town travel/overnight stays.
• Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes accordance to OSHA regulations.
• Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required.
