Job summary

Generator Supercenter of Savannah is seeking a motivated Generator & Plumber Helper to join our Pooler, GA team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience assisting with generator installation, maintenance, and service, plus support for plumbing tasks related to generator hookups.

You will work alongside skilled technicians on residential and commercial sites, helping transport, stage, and position equipment while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or general construction is a plus.
• Willingness to learn generator systems, plumbing basics, and trade skills on the job.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with generator installation, maintenance, and service calls.
• Support plumbing tasks related to generator hookups, including gas line.
• Help transport, stage, and position generator equipment at residential and commercial job sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites and in the service vehicle.
• Assist with running conduit, wiring, and other electrical support tasks as directed.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on every job.
