Generator Supercenter is hiring a Generator Mechanic / Service Technician in Roswell, GA. This field-based role will travel to residential sites to diagnose, maintain, and repair whole-home standby generators with a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in generator service or related mechanical/electrical work, strong communication, and the ability to read schematics. A valid license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in generator service, small engine repair, or related mechanical/electrical work.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole-home standby generators.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in our service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required for emergencies)
