Job summary

Rolfson Rentals is hiring a Generator Mechanic to perform diagnostics, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on generators. You will create work orders, document repairs, and assist the team with diagnostics, while maintaining accurate records and parts usage.

We offer weekly pay, overtime, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company match, and safety equipment. Applicants must be 23+, have 2 years of generator experience, a valid license, and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 23years of age.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in generator maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license with an approvable driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance on generators in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conduct basic to intermediate inspections, repairs, and component replacements.
• Create and process work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Document repair operations, parts usage, and time tracking per company procedures.
• Assist team members with diagnostics and technical repairs.
• Requisition necessary parts through the Purchasing Department.
• Complete technical inspections and maintain detailed records of findings.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Comply with company safety policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Immediately report and help correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
