Job summary

Current Electric is seeking a Generator Install Technician to join our Generator Division. You will install, startup, and test residential and light commercial generator systems, with emphasis on safe gas piping work and high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on mechanical aptitude and are willing to learn gas piping; training is provided. You will work with the Generator Department Manager and electrical team to deliver exceptional customer service on every project.

Qualifications

• Experience with gas piping, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical installation is beneficial.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to train in gas systems.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, or testing natural gas or LP gas systems encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial standby generator systems.
• Install, modify, test, and troubleshoot natural gas and LP gas piping for generators.
• Document work, time tracking, and invoicing using ServiceTitan.
• Collaborate with the Generator Department Manager and electrical team to complete projects.
