Job summary

Tyton Power LLC is seeking a Generator Field Technician to join our Odessa, TX team. The role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and quality control on company generators under supervision.

You will load, test, troubleshoot, and assist with mobilizing/demobilizing equipment, while maintaining safety and accuracy in documentation. Candidates should be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on generator and electrical system experience in a field setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of generator maintenance/repair experience required.
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Must be able to travel frequently to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, minor/major repairs and quality control on generators.
• Load bank and test generators; inspect units above 180kW; assist with troubleshooting.
• Install telemetry devices and ensure asset numbers/decals are correct.
• Document repairs, parts used and time in work orders; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections on lube trailer.
• Maintain professional communication with on-site customers and supervisors.

Tyton Power is seeking a Generator Field Technician to join our team in Odessa, TX. This technical role supports preventative maintenance, inspections, minor and major repairs, and quality control on company generators under direct supervision.
