Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced assembler to build and process generator core components, including pressure plates and hardware. You will operate grinders, drills, and precision tools, follow drawings, and ensure quality and safety on the shop floor.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience, and ability to lift 50 lb. Respirator fit and forklift/crane licensing may be required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with shop tools (grinders, sanders, drills, etc.) and ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to read, write and complete simple forms.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with all tools and equipment for generator core assembly.
• Perform fitting and assembly per drawings; torque and tension bolts and hardware.
• Set up and operate robots; clean and detail cores.
