Job summary

Spin Master is seeking a hands-on ML Engineer to join Hapiko, a Spin Master company, to build and tune diffusion models for a first-of-its-kind sticker printer used by kids worldwide.

You will train models, build data pipelines with provenance, and collaborate with brand teams and ML Serving engineers to deploy safe, on-brand outputs for popular characters.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience fine-tuning diffusion or generative image models.
• Built training data pipelines with provenance requirements.
• Built evals for generative output and used them to guide decisions.
• Strong Python software engineering for training code and pipelines.
• Curiosity and creativity to pioneer the future of play.

Responsibilities

• Train and fine‑tune diffusion models, pipelines, and adapters for characters.
• Extend evaluation harness to measure character fidelity and output quality.
• Ensure spoken requests from kids yield correct outputs.
• Collaborate with brand teams to approve and ship characters.
• Partner with ML Serving and Trust & Safety engineers to productionize.
